Goldfields TVET College is one of the 50 public Colleges for Technical and Vocational Education and Training administered in terms of the Continuing Education and Training Act, No. 16 of 2006. The College provides technical and vocational education and training programmes to learners who completed at least Grade 9 at the school level and to Grade 12 learners who have not achieved university entry certificates but would like to further their education. In general, the College provides three main categories of qualifications and part-qualifications viz; National Certificate Vocational Level 2 – 4, Report 191 certificate commonly known as Nated (N1 – N6) in Engineering Studies and N4–N6 in Business Studies programmes, occupational qualifications mainly through leadership and skills programmes. Occupational programmes are mainly offered at Tosa Campus and learning centres around the province, soon these programmes will be relocated to the newly established Skills Development Centre.
Who is eligible to apply at Goldfields TVET College NSFAS Application 2025-2026
To qualify for NSFAS at Goldfields TVET College, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be a South African citizen.
- You must be enrolled or intend to enrol in a programme offered by Goldfields TVET College.
- Your combined family income must be R350 000 or less per annum.

- Living allowance R15, 000 per annum
- Book allowances R5200 per annum
- Incidental/personal care allowance of R2900 per annum for students in catered residences
TVET
- Accommodation in an urban area is R24,000 per annum
- Accommodation in a peri-urban area is R18,900 per annum
- Accommodation in a rural area is R15,750 per annum
- Transport (up to 40 km from the institution) R7,350 per annum
- Transport R7000 per annum
- Incidental/personal care allowance R2900 per annum
