Capricorn College is a product of a merger of three Colleges with very distinct and diverse historical backgrounds. These were the former Pietersburg Technical College (PTC), Bochum College of Education and the former Northern Province Community College (NPCC). Capricorn TVET College has become the first choice institution for further education for many young people as the programmes offered directly respond to the priority skills demands of the South African economy. The College further offers theory and practical learning. There are many exit options for young people to choose. Both citizens and international applicants can apply to study an undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, occupational and other programmes offered at the Capricorn TVET College . The application is made through filling the application form online at the college admission portal.
Requirement to Capricorn TVET College
- A minimum requirement is a successful Grade 9 but even better is Grade 10, 11 and Grade 12.
- A year-end school report for Grade 9 or higher
- An NQF Level 1 Qualification
- ABET Level 4
- A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirement for access to NQF Level 2
