Application Date for Coastal TVET College Online Application 2025-2026
The online application portal of Coastal TVET College opens on September 1, 2024 and closes on October 31, 2024. Prospective students must do well to submit their completed application during this period. Applications submitted after the closing date will not be considered for the 2025-2026 academic year at Coastal TVET College.
Admission Requirement for New Applicants in Coastal TVET College
Applicants for the 2025-2026 academic year must ensure that they meet the following admission criteria before applying;
Admission criteria for new applicants for Nated (report 191) courses
- An applicant who endeavours to enrol for report 191 business studies must pass either NCV level 4 or have obtained a national senior certificate (matric).
- Students who endeavour to enrol for Report 191 engineering studies must have passed at least grade 10 to grade 12 mathematics.
- Please note that electrical engineering students may on applying for employment be required to pass a colour competency test.\
Admission criteria for new applicants for National Certificate Vocational (NCV)
- Students who endeavour to enrol for NCV level 2 business and general studies programs must have completed and passed grades 10-11 and 12 with mathematics.
- The applicant who endeavours to enrol for NCV level 2 all engineering studies must have completed and passed a minimum of grade 10-11 mathematics.
- Students who endeavour to enrol for NCV level 2 electrical construction may be required to pass a colour competency test when applying for employment.

STEP 1 – CAREER GUIDANCE EXPLORATION
You must complete the career guidance to ensure you know which career to choose.
- Once you have registered on the “first time here?” button, complete everything in the “pre-entry information” folder.
- Click on each button and complete ALL the screening batteries in this folder.
- Complete all the questions even if you do not know the answers.
- Click the “Finish” button at the end of each assessment
STEP 2 – PLACEMENT ASSESSMENT
- Log in your profile and complete the literacy, numeracy and course selection
STEP 3 – ONLINE APPLICATION
- Complete all the sections
- Upload your certified documents in PDF format when requested to do so
- Incomplete application cannot be processed
- Remember to click the submit button when done
NOTE:
- Expect an answer AFTER the closing date!
- Notifications are sent via SMS or EMAIL
- LOST USERNAME OR PASSWORD: You can reset and recover using the “RETURNING USER” button
- You can track your progress on your student portal.
