- You must come from a household with a combined annual income of less than R350 000 per annum
- You must be registered as a full-time student at the College of Cape Town
- You must be studying towards a qualification that is accredited and recognized by the College of Cape Town
- You must meet the academic progression requirements set by the College of Cape Town
Document needed to apply for College of Cape Town NSFAS
- 4 certified copies of the student’s ID
- Both parents/ Guardian’s Certified ID copies
- Both parents/Guardians’ proof of income (latest payslips/pension card/child support grant card)
- Sworn affidavit by parents/guardian if unemployed
- Certified copies of death certificates in the event that mother and/or father are deceased
- Proof of address (utility bill or letter from Councillor)
- Certified copy of your landlord’s ID copy if renting private accommodation.

How to Apply for College of Cape Town NSFAS
To apply for NSFAS at Capricorn TVET College, follow these steps:
Step 1: Go to the NSFAS website
- Visit the NSFAS website (www.nsfas.org.za) and click on the “Apply” button.
Step 2: Create an account
- Create an account by providing your email address and choosing a password.
Step 3: Complete your profile
