Elangeni TVET College is a Technical and Vocational Education and Training institute. Situated in and around Durban, KwaZulu Natal. We provide higher education learning supported by the South African Department of Higher Education and Learning. We are also approved by the South African Bureau of Standards. We offer full-time, part-time and long-distance learning with a range of programmes from eight of our campuses. We provide bursary programs including the National Students Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) and other financial support services.

The NCV is currently offered at levels 2, 3 and 4 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). The NCV is designed to provide both theory and practice. The practical component of the study may be offered in a real or simulated workplace environment.

Admission criteria for new applicants for National Certificate Vocational (NCV)

• Students who endeavour to enrol for NCV level 2 business and general studies programs must have completed and passed grades 10-11 and grade 12 with mathematics.
• The applicant who endeavours to enrol for NCV level 2 all engineering studies must have completed and passed a minimum of grade 10-11 mathematics.
• Students who endeavour to enrol for NCV level 2 electrical construction may on applying for employment be required to pass a colour competency test.
