Esayidi TVET College is one of the 50 public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges in South Africa, offering a range of National Certificate Vocational (NCV) and Report 191 programmes across six campuses in Pretoria and surrounding areas.
Esayidi TVET College is the Key driver of skills development in Esayidi (Port Shepstone), Hibiscus Coast and Ugu District Municipalities. These areas comprise of three major towns and numerous townships, both rural with a population of approximately 2 million people. The major industries in these areas are in the sectors of iron- and steel manufacturing, textile and clothing production, cement chemical manufacturing, tyre production, engineering workshops and primary agriculture. Port Shepstone and its environs have been identified as a major growth area in the KZN Provincial Growth and Development Strategy, which provides a strategic framework for the next ten years that is based on partnerships among all sectors of society. Additionally, they will drive the economic activity needed for long term sustainable growth.

- The first phase is the registration forms;
South Africans must use their SA ID numbers.
International students must use the ID number of their country and not the passport number.
- Phase 2 of the application process
You will provide your highest qualification
Select the course you want to enrol on.
Upload your documents (ID document/passport, qualifications, proof of address, ID document of next of kin, study permit and letter from employer that is a Heidelberg part-time student)
- Phase 3 of the application;
You only need to use this phase if you did not comply with the instruction of uploading certified and readable documents. When the verifier rejects your application
Entry criteria for Esayidi TVET College Second Semester Application 2024-2025
- Grade 12 with mathematics – passed
- Year-end school report for Grade 9 or approved equivalent qualification.
- Grade 12 certificate in the relevant field of study
Document requirement for applying to Esayidi TVET College
Applicants are to have the following documents ready during the application process:
- Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate or Statement of results
- Student’s Certified ID copy/Passport
- Proof of residence
- Parent/Guardian’s certified ID copy
- Study permit. Applicable to only foreign students.
