EWC operates within broadband and diverse communities and comprises the following six (6) campuses: Alberton, Boksburg, Germiston, Kathorus, (in Katlehong/ Vosloorus/ Thokoza), Kempton (in Kempton Park) and Tembisa.

New Students: Online Applications

You are considered to be a new student if:

  • You are applying for the first time to Ekurhuleni West TVET College;
  • You were not enrolled on any course at Ekurhuleni West TVET College before;
  • You did not have an EWC Student number in any previous year.

Admission Requirement to EWC

  • A minimum requirement is a successful Grade 9 but even better is Grades 10, 11 and Grade 12.
  • A year-end school report for Grades 9 or higher
  • An NQF Level 1 Qualification
  • ABET Level 4
  • A Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment to meet the basic requirement for access to NQF Level 2
