Northern Cape Urban TVET College provides a relevant and responsive provider of Technical and Vocational Education and Training through establishing and sustaining partnerships with relevant stakeholders and developing our staff to fit the purpose. Applicants interested both in South African and international citizenship can apply for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Northern Cape Urban TVET College is 1 of the 50 TVET Colleges in the country and 1 of the only 2 in the Northern cape province, mainly serving the Frances Baard and John Taole Gaetsewe districts in the province. Through its Skills and Innovation Centre the College offers a variety of Occupational programmes like Learnerships and Accredited Skills Programmes.Geographically the three Campuses and Skills and Innovation Centre are within 10 km of each other and between 10 km to 1.5 km away from the Central Office respectively. The Moremogolo and Phatsimang Campuses are situated in the township whilst City Campus is in the CBD.

Entry Requirements for applying to Northern Cape Urban TVET College
- Minimum passed grade 12 or repeating
- Grade 12, 11, 10 or 9
- Grade 12, 11, 10 or 9 with Accounting
- Min passed Grade 12 or repeating with mathematics
- Min passed Grade 12 or repeating with mathematics
- NQF Level 2-4 (Duration 1 year per level)
- ECD Level 4 – 5 (Duration 1 year per level)
- Level 4 (Duration 1 year per level)
- National Senior Certificate with Accounting
- National Senior Certificate with Mathematics
- Grade 10 with Maths.
