Applications for 2026 open around 1 September 2025 and close on 11 December 2025 for initial enrollment, with a second intake scheduled in mid‑July (approximately 13–31 July 2026) for Semester‑2 courses To apply, candidates must complete an online form, select the 2026 academic year, choose the qualification type, preferred campus, and course, and submit certified documents, ID/passport, latest results or matric certificate, parent/guardian ID, proof of residence, and other documents as required.
Thekwini TVET College Entry Requirements
To enroll in a course, prospective students must attest that they meet the prerequisites. The general requirements for admission to Thekwini TVET College are listed below:
- A year-end Grade 9 or a higher certificate with English and Mathematics literacy.
- An NQF Level 1 qualification.
- An approved bridging program to NQF Level 2.
- RPL to NQF Level 2.
