Thekwini TVET College Second Semester application for the 2024-2025 study season is currently open to all prospective students who want to apply for admission into the Thekwini TVET College. Currently, the Thekwini TVET College has opened its 2024 applications. Thekwini TVET College will start accepting applications from all applicants. The application deadline At Thekwini TVET College for the 2024 academic season is on the 30th of November 2022.
Thekwini TVET College, as a public technical and vocational education and training organisation, strives to fulfil its skills development mandate through high quality teaching and learning and effective corporate governance. We are guided by our vision, mission and values which enable us to achieve our operational targets which are aligned to the strategic goals of DHET. Thekwini TVET College submits its 5 year strategic plan to the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology for approval as per the requirements of Section 10(2)(a) of the Continuing Education and Training Act, No 16 of 2006 as amended. The development of the strategic plan was informed by the National Development Plan (NDP) and its implementation plan as well as the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) Plan and all other relevant legal prescripts. The development of the strategic plan takes into cognisance the dawn of the 4th industrial revolution and the vision of the 6th democratically elected government to serve the people of South Africa.

- A student who wants student support requires NSFAS funding and must apply online before applying to college
- The following document in pdf format is required for the application

Certified copy of next of Kin ID - You will need google chrome on your machine to complete the application
- A valid email address is needed
- The student will receive confirmation of application through the email.
- Application status can also be viewed on the application portal.
Entry requirement to Thekwini TVET College
- Grade 9, 10 and 11 with an aggregate of 40%
- Grade 12 with an aggregate of 40%
- Grade 12 with an aggregate of 40% and grade 12 accounting
- Grade 12 with a minimum of 40 % in mathematics and physical science or a minimum of 40% in technical maths and technical science
