Tshwane North TVET College NSFAS Application 2025-2026 Does Tshwane City College offer Nsfas?

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) is a government-funded program aimed at providing financial assistance to eligible students who are pursuing tertiary education in South Africa. For students who wish to study at Tshwane North TVET College, NSFAS offers a great opportunity to cover the costs of tuition fees, accommodation, and other educational expenses. The NSFAS application for the academic year 2025-2026 will open soon, and it is essential for students who require financial assistance to apply early to avoid missing out. The application process for NSFAS funding requires students to meet certain criteria and provide the necessary documentation. NSFAS financial support previously was in the form of loans and still needs to be paid back when you find employment after completing your studies. If you passed all your subjects, 40% of the NSFAS funding for that particular year/semester was converted into a bursary. This means you will only repay 60% of the loan when you start working.

Tshwane North Technical and Vocational Education and Training College (TNC) is situated in the Greater Tshwane Metropolis of Gauteng. It consists of a corporate (Central) Office situated in the inner city of Pretoria and 6 Campuses: Mamelodi; Pretoria; Rosslyn; Soshanguve North; Soshanguve South and Temba. TNC’s five (5) campuses are 25 km away from the central office, Temba Campus being the furthest at 41 km away. The College has a closed hostel at Soshanguve South Campus which could accommodate 300 students. However, due to insufficient funds, necessary renovations are still to be completed for it to be reopened to house needy students. The College has about 327 Lecturers and support staff with a student population of between 20,000 and 21,000.
