The college has a satellite campus at Thengwe that specializes in learnerships and short skills and a hospitality campus at Makhado. The economic activity in the area is very low, characterized by small enterprises, e.g. agricultural activities, car servicing, and welding among the rural settlement. Unemployment and poverty are tremendous problems. The unemployment rate is incredibly high, much more than the provincial average. There is a high shortage of infrastructure and big industries.
