As you look ahead to 2026, Tshwane North TVET College (TNC) stands out for its diverse and well‑structured programmes mapped to equip students with both practical skills and theoretical knowledge. At the heart of its provision are two main streams, full‑time National Certificate Vocational (NCV) year‑long programmes and semester/trimester‑based NATED (Report 190/191) courses, each reshaped to distinct career pathways.

The NCV programmes span NQF Levels 2 through 4 and include exciting options such as Finance, Economics & Accounting; Generic Management; Office Administration; Marketing; Transport & Logistics; and Utility Studies like Hospitality, Tourism, and Safety in Society. On the engineering side, TNC offers Electrical Infrastructure Construction, Civil Engineering & Building Construction, IT & Computer Science, Engineering & Related Design, and even Mechatronics.

Meanwhile, the NATED programmes, structured into semesters or trimesters, provide a faster-paced route into the workforce. Students can choose from a range of Business and Utility courses, including Management Assistant, Financial Management, Art & Design, Public Relations, Clothing Production, Hospitality & Catering Services, Public Management, Legal Secretary, Tourism, and Business Management, at N4 to N6 levels Engineering students can pursue trimester-based certifications in Civil (Bricklaying, Plumbing), Electrical, and Mechanical fields (Automotive, Fitting, Boiler Making), following an accelerated, skills-focused model

Necessary Legal Papers To Attach When Applying To Tshwane North College

All candidates starting a new qualification are required to upload the following certified legal papers:

  • Certificates/Qualifications
  • Recent Academic results
  • Municipal billing document/other account statements (not older than 3 months)
  • A valid study permit (Foreign national students)
  • The South African Qualifications Authority’s (SAQA)
  • Evaluation Certificate (foreign qualifications)
