Barberton is a town which has its origin in the 1880s gold rush in the region. It is situated in the De Kaap Valley and is fringed by the Makhonjwa Mountains.It is 43 kilometres south of Mbombela (Nelspruit) where the Central Office of the College is located. Barberton Campus was established in 2007. The Campus started with the NC(V) Level 2 Generic Management programme with only nine students who graduated in 2009! Today the Campus has over 1500 full-time and part-time students and a total of five courses both in the Engineering and Business studies sections.
