After an applicant has successfully applied to Ekurhuleni East TVET College for the year 2024, the college administration board goes through your application documents to see if you meet the admission requirements and standards of the college. If your application turns out faultless, then you will be invited to proceed with your registration process.

• You must first complete the online application process as a new students.
• Then complete a Pre-Registration Placement Screening Assessment
• You must have a valid email address and cellphone number.
• During the application process you will be requested to upload copies of the following documents:
A certified copy of your ID
Proof of Residence.

Document requirements for admission at Ekurhuleni East TVET College
All document provided by the applicant belongs to the college or they are properties of the school and if the documents are not in English as a medium of communication. The applicant must provide a certified translation in English.
The required documents are as follows:

• Identity document or passport for foreign students with study permit;
• Previous student academic record/ statement of results for returning
  students;
• Foreign students: South African Qualification Authority (SAQA) approved
  foreign qualification and Proof of medical insurance or cover. Study permit
  that stipulates the duration of study; and
• Pre-Vocational Learning Programme (PLP) results.
• Selection and Placement test results;
• Completed registration form;
• Proof of residence (home and address while studying);
• Contact details of next of kin or responsible persons;
• Parents’ or guardian’s or next of kin ID document
• Proof of payment for the academic year (if self-paying student or
  sponsored);
• Proof of provisional funding status from NSFAS (if funded by NSFAS);
• Provisional funding from repeating students and non-NSFAS applicants
  and
• Attach criminal record (if applicable)

National Certificate (Vocational) STUDENTS;
Minimum entrance requirements are aligned to the NC(V) programme

• NQF level 1 qualification in Grade 9
• AET Level 4
• Pre-Vocational Learning Programme(PLP) Results
• General Education and Training Certificate L4 (GETC),

REPORT 191 STUDENTS;
Minimum entrance requirements are aligned to the Report 191 programme

• Grade 12 / NC(V) Level 4 may be admitted into N4 Business/ Engineering
  Studies, subject to any other programme/faculty requirements.

Minimum entrance requirements for Report 191 N1 Engineering studies are:

• NQF Level 1 qualification, in Grade 9
• Pre-Vocational Learning Programme(PLP) results;
• AET Level 4;
• General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)
