Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year at EEC will open on September 1, 2024, and close in November 2024. Please note that the college only accepts applications submitted through its official online portal. Late applications may not be considered therefore applicants are urged to apply on time before the deadline.

Entry Requirements to Applying At Ekurhuleni East TVET College 2025-2026

National Certificate (Vocational) STUDENTS;

Minimum entrance requirements are aligned to the NC(V) programme

NQF level 1 qualification in Grade 9
AET Level 4
Pre-Vocational Learning Programme(PLP) Results
General Education and Training Certificate L4 (GETC),

REPORT 191 STUDENTS;

Minimum entrance requirements are aligned with the Report 191 programme

Grade 12 / NC(V) Level 4 may be admitted into N4 Business/ Engineering
Studies, subject to any other programme/faculty requirements.

Minimum entrance requirements for Report 191 N1 Engineering studies are:

NQF Level 1 qualification, in Grade 9
Pre-Vocational Learning Programme(PLP) results;
AET Level 4;
General Education and Training Certificate (GETC)
