The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) can provide much-needed financial assistance to qualifying students who require it. Documentation to attach when applying to Northern Cape Rural TVET College NSFAS

• Copy of your ID/ birth certificate
• Copy of your parents or guardian’s ID
• If you have a smart card both sides of the card required
• Proof of income
• The person living with a disability should complete the disability Annexe A form,
• If you indicate that you don’t have certain family member details and or an abridged birth certificate must complete the declaration

Who qualifies for the NSFAS bursar 

• You must be a South African citizen/permanent resident
• You must have a combined gross household income that should not exceed R350,000 per annum.
• For persons living with a disability, the combined gross household income should not exceed R600,000 per annum
• SASSA recipients automatically qualify for financial eligibility.
• Must have email and cell phone number.
