How to apply for Orbit TVET College NSFAS Application 2024-2025

To apply for the NSFAS at Orbit TVET College, follow the following steps:

Step 1: Check if you meet the NSFAS eligibility criteria.

  • To be eligible or qualify for the NSFAS, you must be a South African citizen or permanent resident, have a combined household income of less than R350 000 per annum, and be registered or intending to register for a full-time NATED or National Certificate (Vocational) programme at Buffalo City TVET College.

Step 2: Create an account on the NSFAS portal

  • Once you have confirmed your eligibility, you need to create an account on the NSFAS portal. Visit the official NSFAS website at www.nsfas.org.za and click on “myNSFAS account” to register.

Step 3: Complete your application form

  • Once you have created your account, log in to the NSFAS portal and complete your application form.  The applicant must make sure that you provide accurate and complete information to avoid delays or rejection of your application.

Step 4: Submit your application

  • After completing your application form, submit it online by clicking the “submit” button. You will receive an email confirmation once your application has been successfully submitted.

Step 5: Check your application status

  • You can check your application status by logging in to your NSFAS portal account. Once your application has been processed, you will be notified of the outcome through email or SMS.
