South West Gauteng College is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), formerly, FET college, operating under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) in terms of the Continuing Education and Training Act, Act No.16 of 2006, as amended. South West Gauteng is committed to acquire a gamut of responsive programmes that are sentient to the changing global and technological factors driving our economy to be accessed through multiple modes of teaching and learning and to be a premier provider of world class vocational education and training to produce competent and proficient citizens. That is why South West Gauteng College is now open to all applicants who were successful with their application procedure for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Application Procedure to apply to South West Gauteng TVET College(What courses does South West Gauteng College offer?)

Entry requirement to South West Gauteng TVET College
- A year-end school report for Gr 11 or Gr 12 certificate; or
- An NQF Level 1 qualification; or
- An approved bridging program designed for the specific purpose to access NQF Level 2; or
- Candidates must have a Grade 12 (NSC)
- New students must enrol for all 4 subjects in the particular field
- The number of enrolments in these programmes is subject to the approved DHET prescripts targets
