Entry requirement to Buffalo City TVET College
- A year-end school report for Gr 11 or Gr 12 certificate; or
- An NQF Level 1 qualification
- Candidates must have a Grade 12 (NSC)
- New students must enrol for all 4 subjects in the particular field
How to apply for National Certificate Vocational programs
- Copy of certified latest school report, statement of result or grade 9 or higher GET certificate.

- 3 certified copies of the ID of the parent or guardian

How to apply for Nated(Report 191) course
Application for Nated Diploma Programmes is done a year ahead of the intended year of study for Semester 1. Semester 2 applications open in April/May and classes commence in July after the semester break.
Minimum Entry Requirements for Nated courses
Students intending to pursue any one of the Nated Diploma Programmes need to be in possession of a Grade 12 Certificate or be currently in grade 12 during the year of application
