Ikhala Tvet College Online Application for 2024 Closing Date How to apply for Ikhala?
Ikhala Public TVET College (Ikhala College) was formed on 1 April 2002 through the merging of a number of previous Technical Colleges. Currently, Ikhala College is serving the communities of the Northern Region of the Eastern Cape with campuses at: • Aliwal North • Ezibeleni • Queen Nonesi (Lady Frere) • Queenstown • Sterkspruit. Ikhala TVET College Queenstown Campus is situated in the beautiful town of Komani (formally known as Queenstown) in the Eastern Cape. This town is known for the hexagon in the centre of town and for its beautiful indigenous aloe plants and surrounding mountains. Further, this town is also surrounded by many game farms with the Longhill Nature Reserve on the outskirts of town. Our students are coming from all over the Eastern Cape and we have a student population of around 1400.
Admission Requirements to Ikhala Tvet College
- L2 – Grade 09 or NQF Level 1 Qualification or higher
- L3 – Pass five (5) or all the Office Administration L2 Subjects
- L4 – Pass five (5) or all the Office Administration N3 Subjects
- A year-end school report for Grade 9 or higher, or
- An NQF Level 1 qualification (ABET Level 4) or
- A recognition of RPL assessment to meet the basic requirement for access to NQF Level 2

Procedures for Applying to Ikhala Tvet College (How to apply for Ikhala?)
- Step 1. Career Guidance
Follow this link to do an online Career Guidance Questionnaire: https://gostudy.net/ikhala
- Step 2. Online Application
Identify the course you wish to study, career counselling is available on call if you are still not sure. Complete the online application for the chosen programme/ course. APPLY NOW
- Step 3. Attach Documentation
Attach your application documentation (Certified ID Copy, Results, Next of Kin ID Copy, Photo). Your documents will be checked and approved if they are clear and certified but will be rejected if they are not clear or have an outdated date stamp.
- Step 4. Selection
You will receive an e-mail after every step, updating you about the status of your application. After 30 September 2024, the college will start the selection process and communicate with you regarding the status of your application via email & SMS. The e-mail will have the registration details.
- Step 5. Accept Offer
If you are admitted, you will receive an email & SMS informing you that you are “Provisionally Accepted” and you will be expected to Accept the offer on your Student Portal and print the Enrolment form.
- Step 6. Registration
Once your application has been submitted, the college will inform you if you have been admitted and you will be required to write a pace test, thereafter you are expected to attend classes.
